9 things you can do if clients aren't buying

Inspired by Dave Gerhardt CMO of Privy where he shared some things that you can do if customers aren't buying right now. His audience was geared more towards Saas & Ecommerce.

But it got me thinking for what you can for your business.

  1. Start a podcast interviewing current clients on what they are doing during this time and giving them a "commercial" to share.
  2. Offer service (or resource), that is quick for you to execute, for free to potential clients. I have a client doing FB Ads for his local area businesses.
  3. Reach out to your 5 best clients and ask for a quick iPhone video testimonial (look to get at least 2 in return). These are the best pieces of social proof
  4. Start writing that blog you've been putting off.
  5. Start that newsletter sharing the blog posts with your clients, past clients, and leads.
  6. Build a library of emails for Follow Up emails to leads (more on this here).
  7. Post something on social about a result or project success that you had with a client and then ask that client to reply back.
  8. Review your processes and optimize the manual bits through automation tools such as Zapier.
  9. Pick a social platform (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat) that you haven't explored and build an audience there over the next 30 days with some original content, not copying and pasting what you are doing elsewhere.
